About Public Limited Company 

A Public Limited company or Joint stock company is form of business suitable for large and well-established business in which there is an involvement of a large no. of peoples and a large subscription by the way of capital contribution is made by its members and other persons. The restrictions imposed by the laws on Private limited company are set-aside in case of a Public limited company. Hence there is no restriction on transfer of shares, no maximum limits of members, no restriction on inviting public to subscribe its share capital. The only public company is eligible to gets its securities to be listed on a Recognized Stock Exchange. Since there are a numerous compliance in this type a company which leads to a high degree of transparency. The Bankers and other Financial Institutions are more comfortable to provide finance to such entities.

Requirements:

• A minimum no. of 7 members & no maximum limit.
• Minimum 3 directors required and a maximum of 15 directors, this limit of maximum directors can be removed by passing necessary resolutions in the meetings of company.
• Minimum paid up capital is Rs. 5 Lakhs.
• DSC (Digital Signature Certificate) is required.
• DIN (Director Identification Number) is required in favor of the directors.

Documents for Company Registration:

• PAN card details of all the directors and shareholders.
• Address Proof such as Aadhar Card/ Driving License/ Voter card, of all the directors and shareholders.
• Passport size photograph of directors.
• A Copy of Rent agreement & No Objection Certificate from the landlord of the business place if the business premises are rented or leased in Favor the Company.
• Other utility bills such as telephone, water, gas, or electricity bill as residential proof of the registered office. It should not be older than 2 months.
